Voice Actors Needed!
Are you an insane Buffy fan? Or a voice actor wanting to be part of a huge international casting and crew? Then we need YOU!
We are currently having a OPEN casting call for roles in Season 2 of Buffy Between the Lines
. What IS Buffy Between the Lines? It's an audio drama set between the seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (Special Note: you don't need to be a big Buffy fan or even have watched the series to participate).
Season 1 is in full swing currently and is set between Seasons 5 and 6 of the tv show.
Season 2 is in the auditioning process and will be set between Seasons 2 and 3 of the TV show.
Our needed cast list is long, so we're only auditioning some of the available roles. There's a LOT more than are on the list. So if you feel like you would like to become part of the Buffyverse audition! Even if you don't "sound" like a Californian this season has a LOT of different characters that we need voices for.
We especially need auditions for people with Mexican/South American/British accents.
If you want to learn more about the auditions click here.AUDITIONS CLOSE ON MARCH 21ST
If you'd like to listen to Season 1 visit our website
and click on the pictures in the right hand corner. Those are the episode banners for each of our current shows. Once you've clicked you can listen via our website. Or you can subscribe to our podcast for FREE on iTunes.

The Dome on My Space
Yes, I took the plunge and set up a Dome My Space account. I've actually had my own My Space account for some time as it's helped me connect with alumni for the reunion. The Dome page features samples from "Avatar" and I will be doing blogging there regarding productions. There is also a listing of upcoming productions. If you have an account, please take a moment to stop by and let others you know who have an interest in original audio drama take a look as well:The Dome on My Space Current Mood: accomplished

"Mesomorph" - Episode ThreeNext Episode: Radio 2000 Current Mood: calm
"The aftermath of World War III. Chaos. The breakdown of society. What would you give up to live a normal life? Your freedom? Your planet? In the years that followed mankind's greatest holocaust, a single leader emerges to rule the Earth with his iron fist. There is but a single voice which speaks out against him: that is the voice of Radio 2000. But some people believe in Milan's rule. Some believe that it will take the disipline of a dictator to save the Earth from itself. And some are willing to stop at nothing to silence the voice of freedom which eminates from the lone station, high in orbit above the Earth. The Doctor and Christine find themselves involved in a revolt where the stakes are far greater than just who will live at Number 10. Far greater indeed. And there is a third party...waiting just outside the solar system...watching."

"The Doomsday Signal" - Episode One
This was the second audio drama produced by the Doctor Who Audio Drama group.
This was written in 1997. This is a five part story. I'm posting episode one now as I'm leaving on vacation on Sunday and won't be back until the following week. As always, comments are welcome. What follows is the text from the CD cover.
For years, mankind has been sending signals into deep space, searching for extraterrestrial life, hoping to receive a reply.
Today, we finally got one. It wasn't the kind we were expecting.
The festive mood of New Orleans Mardi Gras is suddenly broken as an intergalactic spaceship blots out the sky. Their response to our message is simple:
"Peoples of the Planet Terra. I am Marin, Commander of the Androsi flagship Traka. We have received your notice of war and have come to respond. I find it odd, though. Our scans show your technological level to be quite low. You can barely escape your planet's gravity and you've never traveled beyond your system. Why would you invite such as this upon yourself? Oh well, it doesn't matter. Honour must be maintained. Prepare to die."
Mankind's greatest disaster has come upon him as, in a matter of moments, New Orleans becomes the first victim of alien reprisal. It seems Earth's gesture of friendship to the galaxy has been grossly misinterpreted. But who can stop the ensuing cataclysm unleashed by a race bent on vengeance?
Before Earth can muster what forces it can, a second ship appears in the skies. Then a third. Androsi? No! Earth's signals have been intercepted by other alien races as well. And now the Funari and the Stephani have come to exact their retribution as well upon a world foolish enough to challenge them.
With three alien races vying for the honour of destroying mankind and the earth caught in the middle, is anyone able to stop the madness and save the world?
From the pen of John S. Drew, the writer who brought you last season's Time Brokers, comes another story destined to be a classic: The Doomsday Signal.

"The Time Brokers"
Some time ago, I posted links to the first three episodes of my very first four part fan Doctor Who
audio drama. I never posted the last episode as I had encoding issues with the disk I had. I've overcome the problem and can now present the entire four parts for your listening pleasure. These audio dramas were produced by the Doctor Who Audio Drama group
, the longest running fan audio drama group ever. They go back to the early 80's. This first audio was produced in 1996. (Hey! It's its tenth anniversary.)In the future, the Time Brokers can place you in any time you desire - the only cost is your life.
I'll be posting my other Doctor Who
stories shortly, one episode a week. Comments, good or bad, are always welcome. Simply right click to save each link below or just click on it to listen directly. As always, the BBC is the sole holder of the rights to Doctor Who
. We simply keep the torch lit.
